If you’re mechanically inclined, taking an appliance repair class could give you that boost of experience you need to fix things in your own home and make a good living.

If calling for appliance service bothers you because you’re sure that you could do the same thing yourself if you only had a bit more experience, our appliance repair classis for you. This class will let you turn your mechanical aptitude into real skills that you can use to fix your appliances and then go into business fixing others.

Appliance repair has two main components, and most people who end up calling for repairs when they’d rather fix it themselves lack expertise in one or the other. These components are diagnosis and performing the actual repair. By attending our class, you’ll be brought up to speed on both ends so you’ll never be stymied by a broken appliance again.

Diagnosis

Each appliance has a set of problems that can go wrong with it, and there are specific steps to take to go through the possibilities and pin down the culprit. Our class will let you know which steps to take for each common appliance and problem, which diagnostic tools you’ll need, and how to use these tools for best results.

Repairs

Once you know what’s wrong with the machine, it’s time to do the actual repair. This is where many people end up stymied. Without the proper education, it can take hours to get a faulty part out and put another in, but a trained technician can often do the same job in five minutes. This leaves many people frustrated and wondering how the experts work their magic! Our school ends this mystery and teaches you all of the tricks for making repairs quickly, and more importantly, doing it right the first time.

After Taking the Class

When you finish our class, you’ll be qualified to become a professional appliance repair technician. Many students go on to get jobs at existing appliance repair companies, but you can also go into business for yourself. Of course, you’ll never have to call a technician to fix your own appliances again – you’ll be the professional that other people call instead!
