Service Administrator Position
Our Service Administrators are our customer’s first experience with Fred’s Appliance. They are also the go-to person for our technicians and our problem solvers. We are seeking an efficient and patient Service Administrator who enjoys working closely with a small team and assisting customers in a fast-paced environment.
Our customers reach out to us because they have an appliance that isn’t operating properly and it’s our job to get their unit up and running again as quickly as possible. Our front-line administrators are a critical part of this goal. Fred’s Appliance Service Administrators are also responsible for sourcing parts and billing jobs. Attention to detail and efficiency are two qualities that are required for this position. We are seeking someone excited to grow in this position and challenge the whole team to continuously improve.
Responsibilities
- Answering inbound phone calls - only 4 hours a day, emails, text messages, and chats from customers
- Scheduling service calls and following up on incomplete jobs
- Assisting in routing technicians
- Supporting field technicians as needed
- Verifying warranty coverage on appliances
- Adhering to third-party guidelines and procedures
- Billing and recording completed jobs
