"Cc unit lights in ff section not working and panel keeps showing door open. Verified and found that left hinge cover where door switch is located was completely broken off. Customer states son tried removing it and it broke. Customers did not want to have to pay for labor to fix cover. They asked me to duct tape it for them for now. I duct taped cover and made sure everything was working and switch was reading once I seated it properly with duct tape. Cc leaking water from where icemaker is located and not making ice. Verified and found that fill tube is frozen causing icemaker not to make ice and explains why customer is seeing water leaking from icemaker compartment. Cc unit giving error code f3e0. Confirmed. Ohmed out temp sensor from control board and checked from pin 4-5 and got 1.004 ohms. Ran diagnostics and also found error code f1e1 which indicates internal board failure. Ordering control board. ; ordrng 1 W11620570 (Control board)

Cc water still leaking into drum. Confirmed. Customer states to have disconnected vent from dryer and left it disconnected to make sure it wasnt the vent and says that unit would still have water inside of drum even with vent disconnected. Called Whirlpool techline and spoke with Tim and he suggested replacing control board and gave me SR# 24567858. Ordering control board. ; ordrng 1 W11728026 (Control board)

Cc temps in ff section still continue to fluctuate. Checked ohm value from p5 connector on main board pins 3 and 4 bk to bk and was getting a reading of 30.6 omhs and temp in ff section was at 41* and thermistor in ff section reading around 5k ohms. Called Whirlpool techline and explained everything thats been replaced and checked out and he said it leads to bad wiring internally especially from the readings Im getting from the board and thermistor and unit will be flagged as unrepairable. Explained to customer everything and told them once office gives report their warranty will contact them on the following steps. Also gave them Sr# 24571890 that Techline provided me with.
