Repair men are courteous and arrive on time. Working on repair for over a month. Came yesterday and installed a part. Tried to use it this AM. Worked 15 min. Then quit. Same problem. Touch buttons wouldn't work. Had to go through warranty co. Then had to wait for call back from Fred's. Now can't get a technician to come out for another 2 weeks. Shouldn't take this long to get service.

NED4655EW1 AMANA DRYER CC that the unit does not shut off. customer has foil style vent tube connected to dryer, advised customer that this is a potential fire hazard and they should replace it with a rigid metal or solid metal vent tube. Turned dryer on time dry, staryed at 20 mins and did not move, manually turned timer and dryer stayed on. Will need a new timer. Checkec vent, good airflow. Our service call and diagnosis fee is $89.95 on most items.
This includes the trip to the home and a complete diagnosis of your unit regardless of time. Parts and labor are extra. Labor is calculated using a national flat rate labor guide. For the 2nd appliance in the same home during the same trip the service call and diagnosis fee is $45.00
I would most definitely recommend Fred's to anyone. They called a few days before my appointment to verify. And the day of my appointment they called to tell me the repairman was running a little behind. They young man Ben. Knew what he was doing and had my ice maker up & running in no time. As he was working. I would ask him questions and he would answer them. And even showed me what he was doing. So again I would recommend Fred's to anyone.
