"Put new control in customer bought, not working, still throwing F8E0. Called TL, Techline said they have been having issues with the main harness, been seeing broken wires or cut wires in the back going to the cooling fan, to trace with finger and repair any broken wires. 5VDC Black to Red at the cooling fan, when bake is activated. TL said the wiring checks good then since the main control is good and the big oven fan is good, would be the small oven Cooling fan. After getting off the phone, checked the back of unit, no worries that could be causing issue. TL said to replace small oven cooling fan; saved tckt"

I have used Fred’s for several years whenever I have an appliance problem. The techs who come to my home are always very intelligent, patient, and respectful. The thing I like the most is that it appears Fred’s invests in their employees by sending them to school and actually teaching them the trade. They also appear to value the employees as the techs all seem very happy working at Fred’s. Except for 1 time, they repair the problem on the first visit, and when a part needed ordered first , they communicated, followed up and had it installed quickly. They always show up in the time window they give you and are personally responsive to return texts( not robotic answers) I wish all companies were this good. One tech told me that the owner (who I have never met) genuinely cares. It is reflective in my experiences. Highly recommend.
