KitchenAid Oven Repair

Fred's always does a nice job on repairs and Dan was no different. He was on time and replaced the thermal fuse in the oven. He moved the fuse to a different location to minimize a reoccurrence as this was the third time for replacement. In my opinion, the thermal fuse is either underrated or is placed in an improper place in the oven - in other words, a design flaw. Notwithstanding this, Fred's does a nice job of repairing appliances even though you may have to wait a week to cook food in an oven due to their schedule.

Very Knowledged Tech!

The Tech was Excellent! My service appointment was between 12-4. But Fred's Appliance did not contact me until 430pm to let me know he was running behind!

JFC2290VPY1 JENN-AIR REFRIGERATOR CC that the lf door does not close. Found the mullion strip top clip was not in place. Checked for cracks and chips in the mullion strip, good. KGSS907SSS02 KITCHENAID RANGE CC that the oven does not light. When lighting the bake the cooktop sparks. No spark at the bake or broil igniter. Sparks at the cooktop, when the bake or broil is turned on. Ran diag f1e1 REPLACE OVEN APPLIANCE MANAGER. Removed front panel, could not get to the controls board the top burners the screws are stripped, which the need to be drilled out. Called TG and had me jump the cooling fan fuse, which the bake igniter light for 30 sec then turned off. Will need a new cooling fan, fuse, all the orfice holders, burners, and the appliance manger. MDB4949SDM0 WHIRLPOOL DISHWASHER CC that there is a burning smell. Ran diag no codes, ran a calibration. Checked the drain hose was laying on the floor, raised drain hose. Removed the front panel, control and wires are good. Started a cycle, could not duplicate the problem. Advised the cust to run a disherwasher magic threw the unit. Optest ok

About Your Appointment


Our service call and diagnosis fee is $89.95 on most items.

This includes the trip to the home and a complete diagnosis of your unit regardless of time. Parts and labor are extra. Labor is calculated using a national flat rate labor guide. For the 2nd appliance in the same home during the same trip the service call and diagnosis fee is $45.00

Your technician, Jeff, just left so I can write my review. I have been very impressed with this business from day one, very businesslike, very professional, very helpful. The ease of scheduling an appointment online was much appreciated. And being able to track your technician's progress was a terrific perk. I could go ahead and do other things about the house while waiting. The phone alert that he was on his way-excellent. Jeff arrived and checked my disabled washer. An expensive part was available, but given the washer's age, Jeff's suggestion was a new washer was the way to go, rather than to keep putting money into this 2003 appliance. (I had the same feeling). Jeff was friendly and professional.

Our office will send an email the day before your appointment providing the technician’s picture and name. We are guests in your home and we want to ensure you know who we are sending.

The email will also contain a link to confirm your appointment, making the process quick and easy!


Our office will contact you the afternoon before your scheduled service date with your timeframe that you can expect the technician to arrive. We do require confirmation of the timeframe prior to arriving to your home.


Even though we provide a timeframe for your appointment, we also allow you to track your technician’s progress allowing you to better plan out the rest of your day!


If your unit is under (1) year of age, you will need to reach out directly to the brand of your appliance. Their customer service will issue a dispatch number authorizing us to repair the product. We need this to be able to bill the appropriate party for services.

If your unit is over (1) year of age, and has an extended warranty, you must contact the extended warranty company first prior to setting up a service appointment with us. The phone number you need to call can be found on your extended warranty certificate. If you are unable to locate that, please contact the dealer in which you purchased the unit from, and they should be able to provide the appropriate information on your extended warranty.
