Fridge lighting repair
David - Painesville, OH
The issue at hand was a faulty termination whereby condensation had compromised the connection between the wiring and the lower light fixture is n my fridge. The tech was quick to diagnose this simple issue at hand and remediation took less than 30 minutes. My only issue pertains to the cost. The trip out cost me $100, and I know the two wires that had to be reterminated cost no more than a combined $5. So, to complete the task and seal with silicone (also less than $5) should not have totaled $209. Despite the cost, I find Fred’s appliance reliable and capable and would recommend them.
Response from Fred's Appliance Service:
Hi David, Thank you for submitting your review! We are so happy to hear that your technician was able to offer such great service. We quote our repairs using a national flat rate labor guide. This means that regardless of the time it takes, we charge the same amount. We don't think it would be right to charge extra for a new technician that takes some extra time. We are glad that your technician was able to get your refrigerator up and running again! Have a great weekend! The Fred's Team
