Marc - Mayfield Heights, OH
Although I originally was given a several-hour window (which is tough), the tech arrived fairly early in the window, so the wait turned out to be not oppressive. Jeff was knowledgeable and efficient, and he had the needed part in his truck, so he was able to fix the washing machine (replace the pump) immediately.
Response from Fred's Appliance Service:
Hi Marc, Thank you for dropping us a line! Scheduling is certainly one of the most challenging aspects of our industry. When scheduling our appointments, we must keep in mind the length of time a repair and/or diagnostic must take, average traffic patterns, and the route from one home to the next. There is a lot to consider so we offer three-hour timeframes so that we can arrive during the expected time. We are glad that your technician arrived on the earlier side of the window and that he was knowledgeable and efficient! Thank you! The Fred's Team

Called and made an appointment for a leaking washer (purchased 5 months ago). Technician was there less than 15 minutes, completed a diagnostic and said nothing was showing up, did NOT complete a wash cycle, decided that the detergent tray must not have been aligned properly, and left. I ran a load immediately and, of course, it still leaked- called the company back right away. Customer service representative was extremely rude - told me the technician would NOT be coming back out that day, and I would need to schedule another appointment. Now, I took a day off work to be there for the first appt - the technician had just left ... she never apologized for the inconvenience, she never offered to contact the technician in case he had a cancelation or finished early for the day - so he could come back out. She acted as if I was being unreasonable by calling because the problem had not been resolved. I work in customer service, this is NOT the way to treat a customer. Very unhappy with the service thus far - will send an update after my next appointment - a week away, another day off of work, and hopefully my new vinyl plank flooring will not be ruined. Not happy.
Response from Fred's Appliance Service:
Hi Robinn, Thank you for sharing your review and reaching out to us. We are so sorry to hear that your washing is still not working properly. I do see that when the technician was in your home, the unit was working as designed - intermittent issues can certainly be tricky! I do see we have you scheduled for a follow-up appointment on Wednesday and we will get this taken care of for you! Thank you! The Fred's Team
