3 Frigidaire Cooking Recipes You’ll Love

It is easy to get stuck in a cooking rut, where you’ll make the same things over and over again, even when you have brand new cooking equipment that you love. When you get new Frigidaire refrigerators and stoves, you should also get some new recipes to go with it. So, here are some Frigidaire cooking recipes that you’ll love to use.

1) Frigidaire Fruit Cakes

This treat is easy to make and excellent to eat. It will be a nice new dessert that you will love to try, and a very satisfying way to top off any meal.

What you need:

  • 1 12-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 12-ounce box of vanilla wafers
  • 1 16-ounce package of marshmallows
  • 4 cups pecans, chopped
  • 1 16-ounce package of sweetened coconut
  • 2 10-ounce jars of maraschino cherries, drained
  • 1 16-ounce box of raisins

How to make:

Crush vanilla wafers in a mixing bowl with a fork until they are coarse crumbles. Then add cherries and mix slightly. Add raisins, pecans, and coconut next. Stir until all sticky ingredients are covered in dry crumbles.

In double boiler, melt the marshmallows. Then add sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly. Keep it heated until it’s a smooth mixture. Then quickly mix the melted mixture in with the dry mixture. Form into desired shape(s) while it cools. Grease cake mixture(s) with butter and place in container(s) lined with wax paper. Refrigerate in your Frigidaire until cold, and then enjoy.

2) Breakfast Pizza

For when you get tired of breakfast sandwiches and toast, you’ll love trying this breakfast pizza, one of the ultimate comfort foods and a great way to start your day. It’s a good hearty breakfast that will leave you satisfied.

What you need:

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 8-ounce pizza dough, room temperature
  • 2 small new potatoes, diced
  • 3 large eggs, cracked and placed into individual ramekins or bowls
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell peppers
  • 1 cup mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell peppers
  • 2 tsp minced thyme
  • 3 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • coarse cornmeal (garnish)
  • sliced chives (garnish)

How to make:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

On your professional Frigidaire gas cooktop, pour oil into a pan and heat it on medium-high. Add potatoes and saute for three minutes before adding bell peppers and sauteing for an additional three minutes. Then season with thyme. Once potatoes are tender, remove mixture from heat and allow to cool.

 

Roll out pizza dough on a clean surface, dusted with flour. Roll it into a 13-inch circle about 1/4 inch thick.

Dust baking sheet with cornmeal and place pizza dough on top. Sprinkle 2/3 cups of cheese over rolled pizza dough. Top with potatoes and bell peppers, as well as chopped bacon. The sprinkle on the remaining cheese.

In the ingredients, make three pits to hold eggs in place. Then pour an egg into each of the pits, carefully.

Place pizza in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. When it is done, the crust should be golden brown, the eggs should have a runny yolk, and cheese should be bubbling.

Sprinkle sliced chives on for a garnish and enjoy.

 

3) Coffee Sauce Ice Cream Topping

Why buy ice cream topping when you can make your own? This delicious topping will complement many flavors of ice cream and will make having your favorite frozen dessert that much more satisfying.

What you need:

  • 3/4 cup of hot coffee, strongly brewed
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar

In medium saucepan, mix all ingredients together over medium-low heat until cooked. Takes roughly ten minutes. Stir frequently. Once done, place in your Frigidaire refrigerator to cool. Serve cold over ice cream and enjoy.
