Coworker Service Ticket Communications

Need to communicate to a co-worker about a job in ServiceDesk?  Trigger a ticket using this form.  Your co-worker will be happy to assist you.  🙂

Got an unhappy customer about a pending job?  Have something you need help on from a manager?  Laura (and Adam) are here to the rescue!  (Laura should always be your primary choice, unless you’re pretty certain Adam will be handling this particular case)

Parts Department Communications

Use this when Whirlpool sends a dispatch requesting a pre-id, but it’s not immediately obvious what’s needed.  In other words, nothing is torn, broken, missing, dented, dinged, scratched, burnt, cracked, etc.  

Did a customer decide to proceed with a repair?  Did a customer pay for a part requesting that it be ordered?  OR, did a dispatch come over that has an obvious need for a pre-id?  Such as dented, dinged, scratched, torn, missing, discolored, burnt, etc…use this form to get the parts department right on the order!

A customer call to request an estimate on a repair?  Sometimes customers feel they know what part may have failed.  Use this form to have the parts department supply you an estimate on the total repair job.

Setup the recall ticket
Make sure UIS is properly attached to recall ticket
Open Recall Form on our website
Enter your initials
Provide the new ticket# (The Recall Ticket#)
Choose the LAST tech from the drop down that serviced the unit. This is an important step. Be sure you choose right tech, as this is what triggers the notice to the technician about the recall.
Copy and Paste Unit Service History

Here’s how to copy and paste unit service history

Make sure you’ve attached the UIS to the recall job
Right click on item make to bring up UIS form
Click show all linked jobs button within UIS
Click Print Summary button
Click the Send via Email check box
Click Okay Button
A compose window will pop up
Highlight all Text within compose window. Tip: Put your cursor somewhere within the text of the compose window and type “CTRL-A”. This will highlight all text
Once highlighted, type “CTRL-C”
Then Paste into the webform’s unit information field

Property Issues
