Our Customer Service Representatives are our customer’s first experience with Fred’s Appliance. They are also the go to person for both our customers and technicians and are problem solvers. We are seeking an efficient and patient Customer Service Representative that will enjoy working on a team and assisting our customers in a fast paced environment.

Our customers reach out to us because they have an appliance that isn’t operating properly and it’s our job to get their unit up and running again as quickly and painlessly as possible. Our front line representatives are a critical part of this goal. 

Customer Service Responsibilities 

  • Answering inbound phone calls, emails, text messages and chats from customers
  • Scheduling service calls and following up on incomplete jobs
  • Assisting in routing technicians
  • Supporting field technicians as needed

Customer Service Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Empathy, patience, and efficiency
  • Ability to make quick judgment calls
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced workplace
  • Ability to speak/write concisely and professionally 
  • Basic computer and reading skills
  • Customer service experience a plus
