We recently donated $100 to the Madison Historical Society.  The Madison Historical Society was formed in 1978 after a notable vintage home was sold, and many significant artifacts from the house and the local area were auctioned off. Consequently, they were gone from Madison forever. This event galvanized a group of interested citizens led by Louanna Billington and Donna Keyes, who were determined to prevent further loss of significant historical artifacts. Thus, the Madison Historical Society was born.
Our mission is to collect, preserve, display or otherwise make accessible to the public, historical information and artifacts relating to the life and times of the citizens of both Madison Village and Madison Township.

To accomplish this, the Society has provided educational programs, re-enactors, cemetery and house tours, and operates the noteworthy Madison Historical Museum. In addition, members and friends can stay current with our many activities, events, programs, raffles and other fund-raising efforts through our newsletter, The Times.
