Complaint that there is a loud sound when draining and states that the unit was never that loud as it is now. Tech checked the drain pump impeller and found ok. Tech tested a cancel drain and found a normal sounding drain pump. Tech filled unit with water and drained again to find same result. Tech found no abnormal sounds from the drain pump or any reason for having to replace pump. Customer stated that another company was out on her wall oven and they said the pump is bad. Customer complaint is that the unit is making a loud noise. Found unit not running when arrived. Turned temp setting up to start unit to listen for sound. Turned unit off to reset and tired again to identify any abnormal sounds. Cust has a plastic waterline attached to refrigerator (see pic), explained the flooding hazard associated with this type of waterline and advised cust to replace with a copper waterline to prevent flooding. Compressor started up, all fan running and tech listened for over 25mins and nothing abnormal was heard. Tech suggested to the customer to record the sound if they can.
