He said after ff evap is flooded with Freon, then Freon will continue to freezer evap and after short time , freezer evap should be frosted. Very little frost pattern on freezer evap. Per GE, looks like low charge, leak in system. GE does not use dye filters, they use elec leak detection.

Customer complaint of freezer cooling then losing temp, temps were 30 in frz and ff was 38, frost pattern on ff evap was great, only like 20% frost on frz evap, no die anywhere on process, evap ff or frz, filter dryer, or 3 way valve, pressures were 14” vacuum on low side and 105 psi on the high side, added roughly 2oz of refrigerant, frost pattern did not improve, pressures stayed the same, wpl deemed fridge unrepairable;
