Horrible service. They sent me two 10 year olds on a service call for why my washer continually smells moldy ( and STILL does today) and I was told, quote “don’t all washers smell??” I suggested there must be a leak and was also told “ if there was a leak you’d have a puddle of water on the floor.“ NOT TRUE. It’s Obviously an internal leak somewhere, ( which they refused to check for) probably very tiny not to puddle but enough to create moldy mildew odor. I was also told they don’t cover leaks! It’s UNDER WARRANTY! I will be calling them back!

The technician was on time, polite, and completed the repairs. The only issue I had was with scheduling the appointment. The day before the second scheduled appointment the office changed the time from a morning appointment to an afternoon appointment without any warning of contacting me. I had the appointment on my calendar for 2 weeks and arranged my work schedule to ensure I was available. The change required me to take vacation that I was not planning and had not scheduled.

After coming in and examining my crisper drawer, he said he didn’t see anything wrong. Then as he was closing the drawer to finish up, it dropped out on him. He took the shelf assembly out and looked the whole thing over and said he couldn’t find anything wrong. My husband looked at it, looking at the runners, and found the one runner was flimsy & loose. Pointing it out to Dan, Dan went to work on the runner and found it wasn’t put together correctly during assembly. He did fix it & so far the drawer is working great. Prior to the drawer falling off the track for Dan, he didn’t see any problem and was ready to finish up and leave without a resolution to the problem of my drawer falling down. If my husband hadn’t showed Dan the problem, he wouldn’t have seen it & I wonder if it would’ve been fixed on this call.

ONE COMPLAINT! I was given an owners manual when I purchased the MAYTAG. $102.60 is a hefty price to pay for something that could have been discussed in the Troubleshooting section or even suggested by the person on the phone hearing that the oven wouldn't light!! All that was in the way of the spark to ignite the gas was a pan in that drawer below the over. And, I was told, I wasn't by any means the first person to have this happen. Those drawers are ALWAYS places to store pans! Surely someone could rectify that and suggest to customers that try moving the pans! MAYTAG, WHIRLPOOL and FREDS could spare the Stove owner, the repair scheduler and the tech person sent out to "fix" the problem hours of time and angst- and $$$

I started in September for an October Appointment not liking a “clacking” noise with my agitator(how annoying it being a new machine I shouldn’t have had that happen)— MAYTAG Washing Machine being just over six months old. they have had five times to come over and fix it. DAVID R. Came over two times and then the third time I said I want this fixed I don’t want you to tell me this is normal it’s not normal. so then fellow technicians came over and she said it was a washer that was worn out and then other parts were worn from it I guess, because parts were ordered to put in then they didn’t have the right washer When he came over to fix the whole thing one little washer kept him from fixing my washing machine because it wasn’t the correct washer what a waste of time for everybody and money.(my opinion you should have every type of washer in their vehicles) so I had to make ANOTHER appointment then when DAVID did come over to fix it he said another part wasn’t right and said he put it back together And I should be able to use it until the appointment to fix it with the right parts. For five days I didn’t do clothes because he mixed up wires for it not to correctly spin and drain which I did text him to ask him please come over and see if it’s something he can fix. No response to my request. parts AGAIN TO WAIT TO come in another five days yet. You asked for my opinion and my experience I’m happy now everything is fixed and working well and appreciate David R. doing a good job but to take five times I even called MAYTAG and said I would think you’d want to make this right it’s under a year—I was under warranty. Because of this experience I will need to make sure I get the warranty because if I was a day after the warranty waiting this long and within the warranty I would’ve been in trouble calling at the last minute.
