CC that the unit turns off after 2min but the turntable is still on. Placed a cup of water in the unit. Turn unit on for 2 min. After 1min 45sec the mag turns of and the turntable is still on for the remaining time. Checked the outlet, good. Used the watt meter 1500watts when the mag turned off it dropped to 35 watts. Confirmed odd taste in ice. Not a plastic taste but more of a salty off taste. Found house has issue with hot and cold water supply. When cold water is run it gets warm for several seconds before it turns cold. Advised minerals from water water tank might be getting into the ice maker causing this issue. Pressure to i.m. Checks good at 55psi. Cycle ice maker. Found solenoid buzzing. Needs inlet valve replaced. Advised cust to make ice in an ice tray.
