The unit was 30 degrees in the freezer 50° in the fridge. had very little heat transferred to the condenser had no frost pattern on the evaporator except in the top right corner where the copper tubing meets the aluminum evaporator. The compressor had an amp draw the .47 there’s very little head pressure when I turn the fridge off and back on. I could not find a leak by the compressor the compressor is running. Found temperature was set to 55 degrees and wines were around 53 degrees. Tested fan, thermistor, and controls for proper operation. All tested ok. Removed evaporator cover and frost pattern is normal. Everything checks ok. Door may have been left ok. Also noticed that top shelf was not properly installed. Installed the shelf properly. May have been causing door to stay open. Contacted customer to inform them that I could find nothing wrong. Customer informed me that they had another service company out recently and had them recharge to wine cooler to get them through the holiday. I warned customer that this does void manufacturers warranty. Called whirlpool. They informed me that repairs will still be covered but with the work that the other service person had done, we will have to wait until the unit has the cooling issue again.
