Comp that the check lint screen indicator keeps coming on, and takes several tries to start. Foil accordion style vent hose attached to dryer (see pic), fire hazard, needs to be replaced with either a semi-rigid or solid metal vent. Init svc test iaw tech sheet, no faults, ran key activation and encoder test, all passed. According to the use & care manual, the check lint screen indicator will come on each time the unit is powered up as a reminder to check the lint screen, as soon as the door is opened and closed, then the cycle can be started and the indicator will go out. There were a couple of times that when start key was pressed, it did not start immediately, but did start, wetting finger did help to get it started. CC that machine will not start cycle. When plugged in drain pump starts humming. Replaced pump from t/s. When plugged in, new pump starts running and does not stop.tried to place control into diag. Would not enter diag. Checked voltages on control oer tech sheet. 120v and 5 and 13 dc are present but control will not respond. Let run for over 10 min. Did not reset. Will also need new control.

Comp leaving white lint on dark clothing, cust showed me pics on her phone, she says they come out of the washer like that. Asked her what she uses to clean the washer, she said she uses bleach, and does it every 30 days, but has not used affresh or any other cleaning product. There is a ring about 2/3rds of the way up the basket that appears to be fabric softener buildup that can be removed with a little elbow grease. Checked hot water temp in sink, is at 130 degrees. Init svc test iaw tech sheet, no faults, ran auto test, passed, calibrated. Called wptl, spoke to bill (sr#: 7718836191), said the ring around the basket is fm non-diluted fabric softener and excess fabric softener, not using a manufacturer approved washer cleaner like affresh, and excess detergent. Cust needs to use no more than 1.5 tbsp of HE detergent, same with the fabric softener, and to dilute the fabric softener with hot water prior to putting it into the dispenser.; Job Cmpltd,
