CC that the lower oven door does not stay shut and the light does not work. Found the bottom oven door need new hinges. Removed the control panel, to check the transform 43ohms secondary winding have less than 1 ohm. Found the ribbon cable to the control is splitting apart. Will need new hinges, control panel and light bulbs. Called GS to order parts. The control panel is no long available.

Complaint that the unit starts filling then stops. Checked unit and found stored errors F8E3 overflow condition and F0E2 over suds condition. Cleared errors and tested a normal cycle. Unit began to fill and agitate properly as it should. Watched unit and found working at normal op. Advised the customer that both errors go hand in hand with one another. Instructed the customer to use no more than 2tbls of detergent to prevent errors. Cust has a foil accordian style vent hose attached to dryer (see pic). Explained the fire hazard associated with this type of vent hose and advised cust to replace with a semirigid metal hose to prevent fire hazard. Tech did find standing water in the area of the unit and checked unit over to find no leaks. ; Job Cmpltd,

Complaint that after cleaning the oven insulation started to appear from in between the liner and the cavity. Removed same, op test good. Customer also having consistency issues with the burners on the cooktop. Found the cooktop covered in grease and the burner caps covered in a soap film causing the issue. The customer also has the entire area of the unit lined with foil and was advised that the grease could ignite on the foil and cause a fire in the kitchen. Complaint that the unit squeaks intermittently when washing and spinning. Customer had tech listen to a recording and it’s determined to be coming from the rear tub seal. Checked the bellow for rubbing marks and found none. Tested the unit in a high speed spin to check the bearing and found to be ok. Tech found a short in the UI ( lights on dim that shouldn’t be on), the unit needs the UI and the Tech recommends that the rear half of the tub be replaced that includes the tub seal (rubbing could compromise the seal and cause leak).; ordrng 1 WH08X10054 (tub seal) and 1 WH12X10544 (user interface board) and 1 WH45X22914 (rear tub asm), schdld next appmnt for 1/3 WED !
