Checked unit and found to not power on when arrived. Checked the outlet and found a correct 120vac outlet. Checked the pigtail connection and found no eletrical tape around the wire nuts and or a stress relief on the cord. Tech repaired the connections at the pigtail by cutting the wire on the unit back to good bare copper. Reinstalled wire nuts and found the unit to power on. As tech was reinstalling the panels he found the unit would power off then back on. Tech found the cord to have a break in it somewhere. Tech advised the customer that they need a licensed electrician to install a new cord and stess relief. Tech advised the customer that the cord is not part of the unit and that it is not the responsibility of the service company to replace. Tech left unit unplugged for safety. ; Job Cmpltd,
