Found units evap drain pan icing over again and blocking fan. This has been a repeat and ongoing issue. I believe the main issue here is the fact that the defrost heater has melted through the liner of the unit and has created an air gap. Affected area seems to be getting worse. Spoke with r.a. We both agree that the liner will need to be filled with white silicone and then tapped over with heavy duty metal tape. Evap kit should not be needed. Advised we will need unit shut down for 48 hrs before repair to get liner and cabinet to room temp so silicone will take to liner.
