Comp never stopped running, until just prior to me walking in the door, and he said it never seems to go into defrost, but it has since he called for the appointment. Upon arrival, nothing running, after i closed the door fm getting the pic of the model and sn, heard the compressor and fans come on. Put into svc test iaw tech sheet, all tests passed, including the defrost heater. There was a bit of ice build up on the front of the evaporator, but no enough to restrict airflow to the ff compartment, and there was good airflow fm the fz to ff compartment. Unable to find anything wrong with the unit, it appears to be operating just as it was designed to operate by the manufacturer. Saddle valve attatched (see pic), advised cust of the flooding hazard associated with that type of valve and recommended he have a licensed plumber install a 1/4 inch inline valve., Cllctd $96.25 cash, Job Cmpltd,

Comp every time door was opened, water would leak fm the rh side, and items were thawing out, so they turned the temp setting up to max and now everythjng is freezing. Checked ice maker, mold is corroded, force cycled ice maker, heater not coming on, removed ice maker, found mold heater open, going to need the ice maker replaced. As for any leaking, none found, drain line clear. Quoted $98 labor to replace the ice maker. Repair declined, estimate only.
