Eight days after delivery/installation of a new KitchenAid dishwasher it stopped working. KA approved a warranty service call through Fred's Appliance but it was scheduled two plus weeks off due to heavy demand. However, I called Fred's directly to see if I could get on a waiting list. They quickly scanned their system and had an opening that day. Within an hour of calling, Brian appeared and fixed the problem. We were delighted with the service from Brian and Fred's scheduling crew.

Fred’s responded quickly to our request for a service call to determine the cause and if possible repair the lighting problem in our Maytag refrigerator. The serviceman came out in two days diagnosed the problem and provided us with the info needed to submit a claim to our home warranty company. The repair was approved and a follow up call fas been scheduled.

Received our new upright freezer and there was a problem with the seal/gasket. Best Buy didn’t have any option to return and replace it. Called Fred’s and they suggested me to set up the appointment through whirlpool to have the warranty cover it - which was so nice! Great communication during the whole process, even got an email in the morning so I could track my technicians arrival - huge plus! He was quick and completed the work. Very friendly.

Corina couldn't have been any nicer- on time- great conversation- however, the stove will need a re-trip on 1/06/21. On first glance- it appears to be a power fluctuation at the house- however- after the builder's electrician was at the house- checked the connections- changed the breaker- and rechecked the voltage- it's an issue with the unit- not the power source from the house. Kitchenaid has rescheduled for a 2nd trip-

I described the problem with my washer with a Maytag on- line technician, who felt the problem was a stripped washer plate. I called Fred’s for a service appt. Jeff removed the plate, stated it was not stripped, reinstalled the part, checked the diagnostics and stated there was no problem detected. I paid the service charge of 107.11$. Two hours later I washed a load of clothes and the machine made a new sound a couple of times but the load came out fine. I put in a second load, and the machine made even more new sounds every time it shifted, would not go into fast spin, and finished the load dripping wet. I put it through 2 more spin cycles, with clothes still dripping wet. The lid remained locked, and I eventually unplugged the machine and was able to lift the lid. Now it does nothing at all. I called to ask about a technician coming back out, and was told no availability until maybe next Thursday. I am very disappointed in this. My husband and I discussed this at length this morning, have thought about purchasing a new washer. Considering the high cost of replacement parts that may/may not be under warranty on this 5-year old 493$ washer, plus labor costs, and the age of the washer, plus the service call that was unhelpful, this may be our most cost effective move. I don’t feel I could have confidence in any further work with your company.

I reviewed the notes from your service visit where the technician removed the wash plate and found the threads and splines were in good condition. At the time of service, the machine was not showing any error codes, the calibration test was normal, and he was not able to find anything wrong with the unit. If the unit is working while the technician is in the home, it can be quite difficult to diagnose intermittent issues. This is one of the reasons that we warranty our diagnostic fee for 30 days. If something pops up again in that timeframe, we send a technician out to take another look at no additional charge. Technician was knowledgeable and easy to speak with. Cost was very pricey to change out 2 dishwasher rack tracks... almost $400 and Jeff was here for 15 mins. Was in a bind. Otherwise would have called around for a second quote.

REFRIGERATOR MAYTAG MFI2570FEZ07 I called Whirlpool Tech line there is nothing else that we can do to this refrigerator. the user display has been replaced. the main control has been for replaced. the damper assembly has been replaced and blocked. The temp sensors have been replaced. Tech Line has been called three times. On the third time of calling he told me that there is an update coming out this recognized issue. There is no current parts can fix it there is no ETA when this update will be released. He told me to tell the customer to remove the top two shelves to limit small pockets for cold air to build up. there is no fix at the moment for this machine or any of these machines with this model number.

FREEZER WHIRLPOOL WRX986SIHZ00 As I was taking The machine apart with a black light I was thoroughly inspecting all of my Sauders there is no leak the leak that I thought I saw was due to some thing that spilled. I called Brian he told me to run test 4 wait for position 5 and see if the three-way valve is allowing Freon to pass through to the freezer evaporator. The three-way valve will not cycle to the freezer section. While it was in test five it continued to cool in the fresh food section. Needs a control board and a three-way valve.
