Took off back panel and found that the heating element was open most likely because of poor airflow. Explained to customer that they have to clean the lint screen completely or order a new one because if not same issue will happen again. I explained to customer that the clothes will still be a bit damped but he stated they would be more than damped so I ran diagnostics no error codes did a manual spin and agitation and passed I did a auto test and passed as well so I decided to do a calibration and run a rinse/spin with some towels to test it and it spun out the clothes perfectly he touched them and stated thats how theyve been coming out and I explained to him that its not going to spin them out any better than what it did there no water dripping or anything just damped how they should be the unit is working as designed opt test ok.

Called BJ to explain issue and stated that I would have to call Whirlpool Techline to see what they want to do since we dont have the old parts to try to reprogram ui and control. Called techline spoke with Adrian explained issue and stated unit is not repairable since we dont have the old controls
