Verified temperatures and ff section was at 42* and freezer at 16* but it was not running and also checked ice bin and unit was making ice asked them if they flushed the water for about 5mins or at least 3 gallons of water to get all carbon and air bubbles from the lines and said that they didnt explained to them about issues they can have and made sure ice maker cycled and filled and it did also had ice in the mold. Can not find any issues at the moment explained to customer that i lowered the temperature on the freezer a little because the ice maker has to have the right temperature to produce ice. Asked her to monitor for now. Opt test ok.

Tested unit and it would not cycle removed ice maker and replaced it with new one and noticed it would not cycle removed again checked wiring and found that the plug that goes to the ice maker was not sitting properly because the clip that snaps into the ice maker plug was broken had to replace ice maker harness from surplus reinstalled ice maker tested and it cycled and filled as should. Opt test ok.

"Cc u it makes different noises sometimes thumping noise and other times a squeaking noise, verify and unit has a banging noise coming from wheel and a squeaking noise coming from either pulley or rollers. Took unit apart and found a cloth face mask stuck in the wheel, removed mask and replaced rollers and pulley, put unit back together and ran normal cycle, unit started to tumble but there is a grinding noise, took unit apart cant locate the source of the noise, removed drum and bypassed door switch when motor kicks in the noise is coming from wheel housing, removed housing and found a piece of plastic stuck stuck in between 2 blades of the wheel, removed plastic and reassembled the unit, ran normal cycle opt test ok"

Cc that unit is freezing food. Verified temperatures and freezer was at 6* and ff section was at 43* but it was in defrost mode. Saw that the customer was stacking the tall stuff on the top shelf blocking the damper causing poor air flow also helped customer rearrange the shelfs and drawers for them to have more space to fit food and drinks also set the freezer temp at 2* from what tech line had explained to me about issues like this it will help with the temperature in the ff section. Asked customer to monitor and if anything to give us a call back. Opt test ok.
