Went to run a test cycle, upon hooking up vent tube, found customer is using a flap style vent outlet installed on the interior of the house to hook up vent tube to. Flap is facing backwards, when unit runs, flap is being forced closed, cutting off airflow. Customer modified to correct airflow issue. Ran dryer test, good airflow and heat. Some residual burning smell from leftover lint stuck to housing. Advised customer this will dissipate after a cycle , if that. Called wp safety to document."
