Checked temperatures and freezer was at 4* and ff section was at 39* explained to customer that the temps were perfect do compressor cant be running constantly because if not the ff section stuff would be frozen and for the water the line is not frozen the valve is not kicking on and the paddle switch is activating pulled out unit to check valve and found back of unit by the ice maker evaporator was completely rusted out which has been leaking damaging the valve which I explained to customer that is not repairable customer will use like that for now until they get a new unit.
