Customer stated it takes several cycles to dry clothes completely, also they unit will not shut if when it goes into cool down, timer will stop advancing. Customer also states clothes come out smelling like mildew. Checked heat and airflow. Good heat and good airflow at vent outlet. Ran temperature cycle test at exhaust, cycling from 185 degrees when on, 145 degrees when off. Timer did shut off twice when running test cycles. Replaced timer anyway using misc. truck stock. Ran dryer op test again. Timer op test good. Noticed odor from inside unit. Pulled unit apart, nothing inside unit to cause smell. Inside of customer washer smells of mildew, customer may have a draining issue with washer that is causing the slow drying and small he is experiencing. "Cc unit has.a burning plastic smell when using oven.Inspected oven cavity and burner compartment. Nothing unusual. Ran bake test to 350. Slight odor coming from oven cavity, do not smell it around unit or in broil drawer. Noticed bottom of inner glass panel had residue of some sort stuck inside of mount bracket. Removed and reheated. Odor still present, not strong, similar to hot enamel when oven is started up for the first time. Called WP techline, Adrian, suggested customer to run broil cycle for awhile to see if they can burn away whatever is causing smell inside."
