Dan seemed irritated to put on mask before entering my home. His reply was irritated and hesitant when I asked him to wear a mask “yeah, if you want me to”. I wouldn’t have asked him to use a mask if I didn’t want him to. I had two issues that brought him to my home for a repair: 1) The hinge on the door which he just oiled and did not replace with the hinge that KitchenAid sent me. And I am fine with that as long as it works. 2) The lights flicker when I run the fan and I am cooking. His reply is that moisture and electric together would cause that. I said that’s not normal. Can he at least look at the electrical to make sure everything is connected and not shortening out under the panel. Dan VERY hesitantly took the panel off and looked. I am assuming he knew what to look for and said everything looks fine. When he had the panel off and the panel was part of the filters, I asked him about replacing the filters. How would I pull them out? He answered my question with irritation. I just don’t think he was giving any effort to this repair call or had good customer service skills.

The service tech Dan was professional & friendly. He checked out my problem from the water filter (that’s replaced every 3 months) to the water line in the basement. I thought it was the water valve where the water dispenses bc that’s where I see the problem. I had taken the filter out & put it back in before but it didn’t register that filter was be the actual problem. ☝️I didn’t tell Dan another appliance company had previously came out to check my same problem but I was told it my valve that was sticking. That tech nvr checked my filter or water line. He ordered a valve & mother board 😳. I waited over a month to be told they are waiting they are waiting for parts. Don’t ever call Shunemans. They are horrible. Sorry. From the time I scheduled with Fred’s and checked reviews I God was watching over me on this. The other ppl was canceled before knowing about Fred’s. Dan told me my problem wasn’t my valve it was my filter. It is clogging. He filled I don’t how many glasses of water with & w/o the filter and he explained how they can clog with a tiny piece of coal. Then I had a upper shelf one side refrigerator freezing problem and he said my freezer is probably too full which it was/is that’s keeping the air from circulating some. Makes sense. I still hv some clearing to do. Bottom line Dan could’ve tore into my refrigerator like the other ppl planned to one day do for the money and caused me even more unnecessary problems but he didn’t and just told me the simple truth and that’s exactly what it was. A clogged filter but had II had two in row though. Pure water filters. Next one I’m getting in touch with them. $50, heck yea. I would recommend Fred’s to anyone. Thank you Dan!! 😊😊😊 I had completed this before but my charge ran out at the end & it cut right before I was finished & it made me mad.

This was our first time working with Fred's Appliance. We have a four year old Samsung Washer and Dryer. Our dryer wasn't drying so I called around to different places, but they did not service Samsung appliances. I called Fred's who did service Samsung appliances. The technician came out and inspected it, and found out that my heating element went and the pulley went also. I was disappointed to hear that the technician did not have any parts in his truck for a Samsung dryer nor did Fred's have Samsung parts at their business (warehouse) and had to order them because they are Samsung parts. Needless to say, they ordered the parts, which came to my house. The technician then came the next day to install them. He put both new parts on in about 15-20 minutes. When he turned the dryer on, the technician and I had heard a squeaking sound. Needless to say, we had to order four rollers for the dryer. The technician came back within a few days to install them. We didn't hear a squeak noting that everything was fixed. The technician did a great job replacing all the parts, but I would tell anybody NOT to buy Samsung appliances ever. It costs us over $600 for parts and service with total. I could've went out and bought a new basic Amana or Whirlpool electric dryer for cheaper. The service was great and the technician was very patient, knowledgeable and explained everything. I definitely would hire them again for any appliance repairs in the future!

They sent me two 10 year olds on a service call for why my washer continually smells moldy ( and STILL does today) and I was told, quote “don’t all washers smell??” I suggested there must be a leak and was also told “ if there was a leak you’d have a puddle of water on the floor.“ NOT TRUE. It’s Obviously an internal leak somewhere, ( which they refused to check for) probably very tiny not to puddle but enough to create moldy mildew odor. I was also told they don’t cover leaks! It’s UNDER WARRANTY! I will be calling them back!

I also remove the lightbulb she could not remove the lightbulb because they add a dab of hot glue to hold the lightbulb in place for whatever reason I told her there is no reason why we will need to be added when she put a new lightbulb in it serves zero purpose.

REFRIGERATOR MAYTAG MFI2570FEZ07 Customer is having an issue with things inside the refrigerator freezing I found that the temperature inside the fridge was about 42°. I looked through the previous technicians notes they replace the user interface they redid the ice container where the diverter motor is. They tested the sensors the sensors came back good the only part that has not been replaced as the main control board its possible that the board is not allowing either the damper motor to open and close properly or its not relating the right information from the sensors.
