"Cc: not cooling properlyFound temps in ff section at 68 degrees, freezer at 33 degrees. Found frost and ice build up around freezer fan. Found damage to cabinet on both front lower corners, not allowing gasket to seal properly. Called whirlpool tech line. He asked if the unit looked as if it had been dropped. Advised yes, looks as if it was dropped on front 2 rollers. He stated product damage is only covered for the first 30 days. He stated it should have been noticed prior to almost 1 year, and the unit should have frosted up a lot sooner. He also stated the unit could have been moved and dropped which could have caused the damage. He transferred me to trade care. Trade care stated the unit would still be covered because it is a functioning issue. Trade care read the notes from tech line, and spoke with another person, the reason the damage is not covered is because the unit looks as if it was dropped. Trade care stated to have the customer call Customer experience if they have an issue."
