Did find she had the drain hose extended longer to reach the utility tub and had a sock to catch the lint. So i tried to cycle ice maker it cycled the first time removed checked water level and was good emptied out and tried again to cycle it but got stock half way so i replaced ice maker cycled and filled as should. "Cc unit smell like gas, checked gas like and ok ran normal cycle no smell of gas, pull unit out not gas smell, pushe unit back customer said he smells the gas, I dont smell it, noticed vent had a small leak by the exhaust put some foil tape opt test ok, customer is saying he still smell gas, pull unit out again rechecked the gas line removed flame port cover on front, ran normal cycle again watched ignition of the burner no gas smell. Cant duplicate the smell no much I can do since I can smell the gas, customer stated that he only smell it in the left hand side of the unit, I explained to customer that if we had a leak we coul most likely smell it from anywhere around the unit. He said if he smells it again hell call whirlpool back. So we can take another look. Op test ok"

"Cc unit long dry timesCustomer had unit pulled way from wall and stated they just checked vent and they have plenty of airflow. Checked airflow at vent outlet. Good airflow. They are using a long foil style vent tube. Ran dryer time dry test on high heat, exhaust temps reaching 185 degrees peak then cycling back to 160. Pushed unit back into place and retested. Vent is being crushed closed. Cut excessive vent tube off and reattached. Pushed back and retested, good airflow, but unit is now not heating. All thermals checked good, have good power in to unit at 244v. Intermittent power from timer. Ordering timer. ; ordrng 1 WPW10185992 (Timer)"
