Dan, our technician, was prompt, professional, and able to repair our Maytag washer that day. We were very pleased!

He called me before he came for the appointment, which was important cuz we have two dogs that would get in the way. So we had them in the room with us. So I was doing something in the house and I suffer from seizures and blackouts and I had a blackout and we had the air conditioning on in the bedrooms so my wife and dogs were in there, I was in another part of the house that did not have the air conditioning so when I blacked out nobody knew. The gentleman, from what I was told, knocked on the door several times yelled several times called my phone a few times, with no response. It was about 9:15 and my wife came out of the bedroom thinking that the repairman should be here by now so she came out looking, found me on the floor and then heard our repairman yelling at the back door so she let him in and then proceeded to wake me up and then everything preceded. He could have left and then we would have had to make another appointment and things could have been much worse. But due to the patience of our repairmen things went smoothly. We have had dealings with our repairman before he has a bad back, I have a bad back and he remembered that and when I saw him I remember that as well. I give him two thumbs up!

Gabriel fixed our microwave. He showed up when he said he would and when we found out we needed another fuse he called to find a nearby coworker then drove to meet his coworker who had a fuse he could have. Repair of Kitchen Aid Micro convection Oven




First visit tech misdiagnosed a Control Unit and User Interface Module. Second visit installed those parts and they did not fix the problem. Second visit tech diagnosed a new Magnetron. This tech told me if the cost of the first parts installed was more than the cost of the Magnetron then I would receive a refund of the difference. The third visit tech installed the Magnetron and fixed the problem but did not have the information need to determine the difference in cost. I called the office to request a credit on my credit card.

I really had a problem. Could not have someone her until a week later. Threw out most of my food. The meat was starting to thaw. Bought styrofoam and ice, not cold enough. I suggest make an exception regarding the problem. Tech. could have ordered the part when he saw the problem. We did tell the scheduling dept that the ice was building up on the bottom (freezer) and then becoming warm. Thank you

The technical work was accomplished, but my washing machine was left grimy inside and out.The front left corner and edge of the lid had what appeared to be green paint on it, along with scratches. The machine works, but looks worse. I have used Fred's previously and have been pleased with both the work and the careful treatment of my appliances. Unfortunately, this repair visit did not live up to those past experiences.

Here I thought I was using the least amount of what the detergent mfgr. said to use and it was still too much. Dan was not very polite. He did not introduce himself when he arrived. Neither did he say hello. I had to ask him to wear shoe covers as he was about to walk into our home with his shoes. He then put them on. I seemed to get the impression that he was upset about something from the outset. I emyptied the dishwasher and he attached the wheels. I then told him that the reason I had requested a service call was because my dishes were not coming out clean. He said there was not much he could do about that and that he didn’t have an answer for it. I asked if I could get a new bottom rack as I think this is a contributing factor. He said that would be fraud as he didn’t think it was necessary. He acknowledged that my dishes should not lean in the dishwasher like they were and that he had never seen that before. He acknowledged the problem but said there was not much he could do for me besides reducing the soap amount and run the hot water prior to running the dishwasher If his affect had been kind and reasonable, I would not have minded. He was simply rude and unapologetic for it. I am sorry to say I will not ever call your company again. The experience was dismal and very disappointing. As a physician, if I treated my patients the way he did me, I would be without a job. I think he owes it to himself to do better.

I wouldn't have needed the service in the first place if the stainless steel door on my Kitchen Aid dishwasher hadn't rusted after and pitted after owning the dishwasher for only 8 month . The service men installed the new door in 5 minutes and did a good job.

tech. was very nice




labor and service charge was a bit pricey, did not have a choice going through maytag warranty. Also it took a week for them to send out a tech, then another 3 days for parts. For what I paid I could have bought a brand new microwave.

Pricey and messy




No clean up after the small microwave job, and the only place I've heard of that doesn't apply trip charge towards the labor. Also took two trips and almost two weeks for a basic microwave repair.

when Lowe's gave us a date for over a week, AGAIN, we called Fred's and because they are aware of the problems I am having; were able to move us up to the next day! Thank you

Corina arrived on time, (actually, early per a request via a phone call- that was fine with me!), and diagnosed the problem quickly. She was professional and courteous, and took care to vacuum out all of the lint in my dryer, and on the floors. She replaced the worn part(s), after relating the price for everything. I think the entire visit took about an hour. After she tested out the dryer, I paid for the service, and she left forher next call. BTW, I was able to get my dryer repaired within a few hours of calling for service. I was very happy about that!
