Can't thank them enough for being persistent and solving the issue we were having. Turned out to be a sensor, but they literally tried everything and didn't quit until the problem was solved. Terrible customer service

We made our appointment to have our dishwasher fixed and the appointment was scheduled for Wednesday between 2-5. After waiting I was called at 5 by the technician who said he was running behind and would not be able to make it. He wanted to reschedule for Friday morning and said he would be there before noon and that the office would call to confirm on Thursday. I never received a call so I called to confirm. When I called to confirm the office said that again he would be there between 2-5, this is not what was told to me by the technician. Now not only was my day ruined but I had to reschedule an appointment for my son that was very important. When Friday came I was called by the office and told that my technician was sick and they would need to reschedule for Tuesday. Needless to say I was very upset and was not willing to wait. When I called the office to discuss this with them I was told that they would be able to fit me in with another technician but would not be able to provide me with a time so I spent my entire Friday waiting for a call. I never did get a call, they just showed up so it was a good thing I stayed at home. The technician finally arrived at 5. After all this waiting the job only took 10 minutes!! I would not recommend Fred’s to anyone!!

Great customer service

Tech came and replace door handle which was incorrectly put on by the manufacturer. According to factory rep the problem was cosmetic so I would have to put it on. Twenty minutes after I hung up the phone, Fred's Appl called to set up an appt for free! What great service.

Love that I can track the service technician so I’m not rushing to get home. They even called to say that they were running early and could they move up my appointment.

I'm disappointed in the quality of the Whirlpool stove in that the metal has to be extremely cheap to pop and crack like it does when heating/baking.

This was the second visit concerning ice in the freezer section of our refrigerator. The first time, some parts were supposedly changed. But the problem was not solved. The second time, we were told that some stuff on the door shelf had to moved. This was done, but the problem is not solved. Frost is still formed and hangs from the ceiling of the freezer.

The repairmen (Matt and I am sorry but I missed the other fellow’s name - I am thinking Brian) were excellent- no awesome. They were courteous and willing to listen to me trying to explain what was going on with the washer even though it wasn’t making the noise-then came back within an hour from when they left because it started making the sound. They came back with a smile. I would recommend Fred’s.

New range fails to broil after repeated efforts

I am extremely disappointed and upset by my experience with Dan who came to my home to repair my newly purchased Amana range. I explained to him that the broiler was not working at all, and that last week I had placed a few vegetables in the broiler for 45 minutes, but they were still totally uncooked. Dan and his assistant watched this time as just one piece of onion was placed under the broiler. Even after some 20 minutes, the onion had only one tiny brown spot. In short, the onion remained uncooked. In his first report, Dan claimed "the unit was operating as designed." In cnversation he acknowledged that the onion had not been cooked, but he did not include this fact in his report. In conversation he told us that the ranges were not being manufactured these days as well as ranges of earlier years. In his report, however, he made no mention of the fact that the broiler failed to function. He simply used evasive language.

Tech was friendly and professional. However took two weeks for an appt and another week for a part. Part did not work so tech called whirlpool tech who said washer was functioning correctly. Fred’s tech and myself knew this info was incorrect but Fred’s tech took the advice of whirlpool tech which left me with a washer that still wasn’t functioning. Wish Fred’s tech would have called another whirlpool tech for better advice. Bc I was left with having to explain that the issue wasn’t with Fred’s tech but with the advice of whirlpool would have been nice to have Fred’s follow up with me on problem. Instead Fred’s left my house knowing issue was still an issue.

Fred’s technitions have worked on this refrigerator 9 times, and the problems get worse with each visit. I am very frustrated with their inability to diagnose and repair this appliance. It is very difficult to get an appointment. It often takes two weeks. Since this is an ongoing problem, I feel this is unacceptable. This is the only certified repair company in this area for KitchenAid. I am very unhappy with this entire process!

Very curtious,prompt, same day service , my refrigerator stopped working to repair it was going to be very expensive service rep suggested wait to fix and shop for a new one, we have 30 days to take off the. 90.00 service call on the total repair, incase we do decide to repair and not purchase new one, won't be charged another service call.

Adjustment completed

Refrigerator French door was a little lower than the other. Technician leveled the appliance as best he could and doors are almost even. He said the back left corner needed a shim and he didn't do that in the adjustment service warranty.

The service tech was pleasant, honest straight forward with all that was wrong with the machine. I was not happy that a top of the line machine, 6 years old is not worth fixing. Although I had the option to repair it there was not guarantee the same thing would not happen again nor something else would go wrong. My issue is with Whirlpool not your tech. I will be contacting them.

Repair men are courteous and arrive on time. Working on repair for over a month. Came yesterday and installed a part. Tried to use it this AM. Worked 15 min. Then quit. Same problem. Touch buttons wouldn't work. Had to go through warranty co. Then had to wait for call back from Fred's. Now can't get a technician to come out for another 2 weeks. Shouldn't take this long to get service.

I was very appreciative the tech had what he needed on-hand, very glad to not have to wait for parts to be ordered. I was disappointed to see the first hour of labor was not included in the service fee. The arrival time window was a bit ambitious, 1-4pm when I was #9 of 11 for the day (which was nice to see/track via their web site).

After checking out my oven, the repairman said a whole downdraft had to be replaced. I had called him for a vent repair. My oven was in total working order prior to the service call minus the vent. When he put it together it no longer worked. He wasn't sure what he did to it, so it took him quite a long time to fix it . I heard the vent going and asked him about it because he said he couldn't fix it. He said it was working and I didn't need a whole new downdraft that would have cost hundreds. Makes me wonder if I hadn't told him the oven didn't work if I would have been stuck for an expensive part that I didn't need.

Technician would not verify incorrect info with office. I had to contact the office in order to authorize the warranty repair.

I had a great experience with Fred's Appliance Service. The technician was very kind, knowledgable, and arrived on time. They were able to fix the problem with my washer with no hassles using my whirlpool warranty.

Took Two Viists but Got Fixed

Had a refrigerator that wasn't cooling. Initial repair done on a Friday, unit didn't work over the weekend. Two technicians came late the following Monday (after 7:30 P.M.) to finally get the refrigerator working again.
