If your Electrolux washing machine is displaying an error code on the display screen, this guide will tell you what it means and how you can remove it. Simply find the error code in the list below and follow our tips to remove it.

Error Code: E10

This error code means there is a water inlet fault. It’s a very common error code that can usually be solved by making sure the taps are turned on and the hoses aren’t kinked or blocked. If those actions don’t work, the water inlet valve will need to be replaced.

Error Code: E11

This Electrolux washing machine error code means your appliance isn’t filling with water during the washing phase of the cycle. To remove the code, make sure the tap is turned on and check the hoses for any kinks and blockages. If that doesn’t work, replace the water inlet valve.

Error Code: E12

This error code means your washer isn’t filling with water during the rinsing phase of the cycle. To remove the code, make sure the tap is turned on and check the hoses for any kinks and blockages. If that doesn’t work, replace the water inlet valve.

Error Code: E13

This error code means your washer has detected that the water level is dropping when it shouldn’t, so there is likely a leak. To fix the problem, make sure the drain hose is properly positioned (it shouldn’t be below the level of water in the drum) and check that the hoses don’t have leaks in them. If those actions don’t work, the pressure sensor may need to be replaced.

Error Code: E20

This Electrolux washing machine error code means your appliance has a drain fault. The best way to solve the underlying problem is to check that your drain hoses and filter aren’t blocked. If those components are fine, the drain pump may need to be replaced.

Error Code: E21

This error code is another drain fault code. The best way to solve the underlying problem is to check that your drain hoses and filter aren’t blocked or damaged. If those components are fine, the drain pump may need to be replaced.

Error Code: E22

This error code means your washer isn’t draining after the rinse cycle. The best way to solve the underlying problem is to check that your drain hoses and filter aren’t blocked. If those components are fine, the drain pump may need to be replaced.

Error Code: E23

This error code means your Electrolux washing machine has detected an issue between the drain pump triac sensing and the triac status. To solve the underlying problem, the residence on the drain pump needs to be checked along with the wiring. The main PCB may need to be replaced if the drain pump and wiring are fine.

Error Code: E24

This error code indicates a fault in the sensing circuit of the drain pump triac. The best way to solve this problem is to replace the main PCB.

Error Code: E25

This Electrolux washing machine error code indicates that the wrong input signal is being sent to the microprocessor in your washer. The best way to solve this problem is to replace the PCB.

Error Code: E31

This code means the pressure switch is faulty. You can fix the issue by replacing the pressure switch. If that doesn’t work, the main PCB might need to be replaced.

Error Code: E32

This error code indicates the pressure switch has a calibration problem. To fix the underlying cause of the code, inspect the wiring for damage, check the hoses for any blockages, check the inlet valve for leaks, and check the drain pump to make sure it’s working correctly.

Error Code: E35

This Electrolux washing machine error code indicates the pressure sensor in your washer has detected the water level is too high. To fix the issue, make sure the water inlet valve is working correctly and the pressure chamber is blocked. If those actions don’t work, replace the pressure sensor and/or the main PCB.

Error Codes: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, and E45

These error codes indicate a problem with the door lock. To solve the underlying cause of the problem, start by making sure the door is closed properly. If the door is closed and one of those codes is showing, the wiring and the lock itself will need to be checked. If faulty, the door lock unit will need to be replaced. If replacing the door lock doesn’t remove the code, the main PCB will need to be replaced.

Error Code: E50

This error code indicates a problem with the motor in your Electrolux washing machine. To fix the problem, start by checking the electrical plugs that are connected to the motor to ensure they are properly connected. If the wires are plugged in correctly, the motor will need to be checked by a technician, and if faulty, replaced.

Error Code: E60

This error code indicates a heating fault. To fix the problem, you need to make sure the temperature sensor and the heating element are not defective. To do this, you first need to make sure all the wiring is properly connected to the components and then test them with a multimeter. If defective, the parts will need to be replaced. If the two parts pass the test, the PCB needs to be replaced.

Error Code: E61

This error code is another heating fault code. It indicates a problem with the water not heating during the wash cycle. To remove the error code, the heating element and the temperature sensor will need to be tested with a multimeter for continuity. If faulty, they will need to be replaced. If the two components pass the test, the PCB needs to be replaced.

Error Code: E62

This error code indicates the water is overheating during the wash cycle. The first thing to check is if the water inlet hose is connected to the cold faucet and not the hot one. If the hose is properly connected, the temperature sensor will need to be checked and if faulty, replaced.

Error Code: EC1

When this code is showing, it means the main PCB is receiving a signal from the flow meter telling it that water is flowing into the washing machine incorrectly. To fix the underlying problem, you will need to replace the water inlet valves. If that fails, the main PCB will need to be replaced.

Error Code: EF1

This error code indicates the drain pump filter or one of the hoses is blocked. To fix the problem, check that the drain pump and hoses aren’t blocked or clogged up with any loose debris.

Error Code: EF2

This Electrolux washing machine error code means there is too much foam in the washer drum during the spin cycle. It shows this code because there might be a risk that the foam may overflow out of the washer and onto your floor. To fix the problem, make sure the drain pump isn’t blocked and that you don’t use too much detergent when putting on a load of laundry.

Error Code: EF4

This error code indicates the flow meter is not detecting any water flowing into your washer even though the water inlet valves are open. To fix the problem, make sure the water faucet is turned on and the hoses don’t have any kinks or blockages in them. You may need to replace the water inlet valves if the tap is turned on and there are no blockages in the hoses.

Error Code: EF5

This error code means the washing machine is out of balance. To fix the problem, open your washer door and rearrange the laundry inside to make it more balanced. You may also have tangled up laundry items that need to be pulled out and untangled.
