"Cc loud scraping noise from FZ. Found water leaking over fill tube causing to block up fan blade. Rearranged fill tube and added permagum to cover and seal and gaps. Tested, good no leaks. Customers ice bin is cracked causing ice to just fall out the front. Ordering non and customer to put in themselves. No return. ; ordrng 1 WPW10558424 (Ice bin)"

"Cc unit is sometimes unresponsive, getting a lot of Power Failure error messages, sometimes when pressing/holding start to countdown you can hear relays clicking but unit will not start. Went into system, no error codes. Unplugged unit for 5 mins, reset. Service Pointer #: W11727795, unresponsive unit, New Software Update available and automatically pushed to connected units, as of now unit is not connected to WiFi. Called TL, recommended customer download software update. Also replaced thermal fuse from t/s, to make sure nothing was wrong with that. As of now, unit has been running over 20 mins while talking to TL. Customer to connect to WiFi and download new update. Op Test Ok. ; used 1 WP3392519 (THERMAL FUSE) from stock"

My brand new Maytag washer failed after three months of use. While covered under warranty, parts had to be back ordered, which left me without a working washing machine for nearly 6 weeks. Maytag’s response was horrible and abysmal, putting me through multiple circular phone calls and giving me inconsistent responses. It was so bad that I contemplated putting the broken washer on the curb with a sign that said “Maytag sucks.“ The only bright spot in this ordeal was fred’s appliance service. Unlike Mayday, Fred’s appliance responded to my emails and questions promptly, professionally, friendly and compassionately. When the backordered part finally arrived, Fred’s appliance service came out within two days and fixed the machine within 30 minutes.

What turned out to be an incorrect diagnosis ended up taking 3 trips to resolve over 1 1/2 months. Problem was not the parts shipped from Kitchenaid but perhaps instruction back and forth between David's contacts at Fred's and Kitchenaid who finally determined it was an electrical problem. I spent 1 and 1/2 months living with alternative ways to feed myself and my 100% disabled wife including buying several electrical appliances which I now have no use for since the oven is finally fixed. What is totally perplexing to me is why the first thing that should have been checked was not the electrical which would then have avoided a huge amount of aggravation on my part dealing with Fred's and Kitchenaid as well as the cost of the electrical appliances. If Fred's weren't the only choice for repair of my oven, I would never use them again. Oh, and when the knobs were put back on the oven, they were put on incorrectly and it took me awhile to figure out that something wasn't correct and I had to switch them around. For a while I thought my oven still wasn't repaired despite the electrical being resolved. Under the circumstances my rating for Fred's is way better than is deserved.
