Our three week course teaches a variety of skills like refrigeration, ranges, dish washers, top and front load washers, dryers, and microwaves. Our single week courses narrow in on one specialty. There is a course for refrigeration, electricity and microwaves, and washers and dryers. Fred’s also offers a single day maintenance repair class.

Those who take our classes receive an ioAST certification, or Institute of Appliance Service Technicians. This is because at Fred’s Appliance, we want to raise the standard for those who are able to repair appliances. When you pass our ioAST exam, you will be ready to enter the field as an appliance technician and you will have a certification to prove it to your future employers.
