Sometimes it can be hard to find an employee with the right combination of ambition, enthusiasm, personality and experience. If you have a new hire who is smart, personable and hardworking, but who just needs to learn a lot in a short time so they can get started, our Appliance Repair School might be the perfect solution.

Our comprehensive three week program starts off with some basic information about electricity and progresses through the major appliances and refrigeration systems. Graduates of our appliance repair school are generally ready to get started right away working alongside an experienced technician, and should be able to start handling calls on their own within six months to a year.

Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practice, we cover all aspects of appliance troubleshooting and repair for washers and dryers, refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers and microwaves. Students learn about installation, safety and proper electrical and plumbing requirements for each type of appliance. We have over 200 major brand appliances to provide our students with extensive hands-on training that will be applicable in a wide variety of real-world situations.

Each member of the class will take the NASTeC (National Appliance Service Technician Certification) exam and also will have the opportunity to take PSA (Professional Service Association) Certification. Beyond just the technical training, we also spend time preparing students for other parts of life as an appliance repair tech, working with them on computer skills and customer interaction. As you know, these aspects of the job can be nearly as essential to success as knowing how to properly defrost the evaporator coils on a refrigerator.

Our appliance repair course can provide the basic skills your new employee needs to get up and running as quickly as possible. In less than a month, our students gain a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience so that they’re ready to get out in the field and become a productive member of your team. Contact us to find out more.
