• Second, check the thermostat. If it is not working, order a new thermostat.

• If the belt is broken, replace it with an identical belt. Pay attention to how the old belt fit on your dryer. To replace the belt, you need to line the belt up with the marking on the drum from where the old one sat. After that, you wind it around both the motor pulley and the idler pulley.
• The belt wraps around the motor and the idler pulley. The idler pulley could be bad if the drum is not spinning. Make sure the pulleys are still in working order.
• Last, the roller could be bad. The tumbler sits on top of the roller. If the roller is too worn down, it will not work correctly and will need replaced. In order to replace the roller, you need to first remove the tumbler and then remove the retaining clip on the roller. After that, you can just slide the roller off. Reverse the steps to insert the new roller into your dryer.

Problem: You can hear the motor working and drum spinning, but your dryer is not creating any heat.

Solution: It could be a bad fuse, temperature switch, thermostat or heating coils.

• First, check to see if the fuse is broken. If it is, replace it with the fuse from your dryer’s manufacture.
• Second, check the temperature switch.
• Third, see if the thermostat is still working.
• Last, check your heating coils.
