academyandvet2techLet Vet2Tech help you recruit qualified veteran candidates for service technician positions with your company.

Vet2Tech recruits veteran candidates who have, at minimum, the following credentials:

  1. A Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) or civilian work experience in an electrical or mechanical trade.
  2. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  3. Honorable discharge from military service.
  4. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  5. Willing to submit to drug testing and background check.

While the mission of Vet2Tech is to help Post 9/11 veterans connect with employment opportunities, we do receive resumes from more senior veteran candidates as well. Vet2Tech will forward resumes of all veteran candidates as long as they meet the minimum credentials specified above.

Vet2Tech is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that connects veterans with employment opportunities in field service technician careers within the residential appliance repair, commercial food equipment repair, and HVAC/Refrigeration industries.

Should you choose to hire a veteran candidate, Vet2Tech will respectfully request that a $1,000 tax-deductible donation be made to support our ongoing mission. Vet2Tech will work with you to identify and file for any Federal or State tax incentives that may be applicable for hiring qualified veteran candidates, as well as any OJT reimbursements that may also be available.

If you would like to receive resumes of veteran candidates in your area, simply register your company online at the linkbelow.  Please remember to register each branch location separately since candidate resumes are sent based upon geographic proximity to the veteran home address.
