We had two issues going on at the same time with our Kitchen Aid appliances. Both were ultimately fixed to our satisfaction. I would like to make a comment about an issue we had with our refrigerator. We were getting a replacement door from the manufacturer. The door was scratched upon installation and a new one was being ordered to replace it. There was an issue with the manufacturer in getting this door which resulted in some confusion. Thinking the issue was resolved, whirlpool closed the service order, stating that it can be opened with a phone call. When the employee from Fred's went to schedule the tech for the door, they saw the order was closed. Rather than calling Whirlpool to see what was going on, I was called and told the order was closed and to just throw the new door in the trash!?! After making a few phone calls myself I cleared up the confusion. I'm sure there was some frustration due the fact that this replacement was taking forever, but....

I have had to call for service 3 times. 2 for the same thing and Brian, the service man was the same all 3 times. I hope nothing else goes wrong.
The tech was able to release the water filter and replace the fuse in my oven and was super cordial and that was done to my satisfaction. I also asked the tech to secure the front control panel on the stove because it wasn't done properly from the sears guys from years back and it seems like it's being held on by a couple of screws. After trying it for a while, the tech said that seems like a part is missing and I could buy some epoxy glue to secure it to the stove. After the tech left, the 3 screws on the bottom wouldn't hold at all and the front fell off 2 times. So, we had to balance it on the stove. I called the office to tell them what happened, and I need someone to come out for another visit to secure the front to the stove. I asked if I was charged to secure the plate to the stove and she said no. I looked at the invoice and it shows the labor charges which seems like I did get charged for the time, but I can't be sure. The lady in the office didn't understand my situation and must have had a bad day and said in 4 years of working there she never heard of such a thing. She said she would get the tech to call me. After I talked to the tech, I was told to buy a part that was discontinued and the tech made another appointment online. After I hung up, I pulled up the diagram online and it didn't appear it was the proper solution. It seems like it was just not screwed on right. The next day, the lady in the office called to ask if I found the part and was curt with me. I told her I didn't think that was the solution and to just cancel the appointment until I think about this a bit more. Yesterday, I asked my friend who is really handy and a copy tech to come over and scope this out with me. The first thing he found was the control panel was suppose to be under the metal plate not over the plate that is why the screws were falling out. Then the top sides slide off and there are 2 screws to secure it to the stove. So it only took 5 screws to secure the front plate control panel to the unit. I think Fred's Appliance does a great job and I would have given a 5 star review, but I felt that the office could have handled the situation better. Just saying'

The service was prompt, diagnostics was explained thoroughly. Price for parts n labor explained w warranty. My technician was just great!!! Cannot say enough good about her. I highly recommend their services. Ty Corrine!!!!
The technician was not only very nice, but quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with the microwave. It's really great to have it functional again.
The one thing that I'd like to see Fred's change is the number of times they phone to make sure we'll be home. We had to respond to 3 or 4 calls assuring them that we'd be home. 1 call would have been plenty although maybe they have experienced other customers that aren't home - it's hard to imagine someone with a broken appliance not being there for the repair appointment but I guess it happens.
did not have to wait long to get technician to come out. Lots of communication (phone calls, emails, and online tracking) as to when the technician would arrive. Technician was very polite and honest. Fees were clearly explained. Good experience. Would recommend.
Hello, we recently had an issue with our Ice Maker going out on our new(ish) fridge/freezer. We called none other than Freds Appliance to fix the problem. Great service, outstanding customer skills and always happy with the work they do! Overall A++ rating from me! Thank you, Freds!

Jeff came on time at 8am as scheduled. Excellent tech with good customer skills. Call was for a dying Kitchenmaid dishwasher pump. We opted not to repair, but to replace, because of the age of our unit and the cost/benefit ratio. Would highly recommend Fred's and will gladly call them again.
Chris was the technician that came in the allotted time. He was very professional, friendly, and fixed the washer promptly. I had a sleeping baby, and Chris was able to do his job without waking him! Thank you for such stellar service!
