Prompt and efficient service




Fred's Appliance scheduled our service appointment within 4 days of being called. On the service date, we were able to track our technician online to get an accurate idea of when he would arrive. Dan, our technician, was prompt, professional, and able to repair our Maytag washer that day. We were very pleased!

Frustrating Lack of Knowlege




Very slow and unable to diagnose problem. No repairs made. Intermittent problem remains. Yet charged extra for labor.

He called me before he came for the appointment, which was important cuz we have two dogs that would get in the way. So we had them in the room with us. So I was doing something in the house and I suffer from seizures and blackouts and I had a blackout and we had the air conditioning on in the bedrooms so my wife and dogs were in there, I was in another part of the house that did not have the air conditioning so when I blacked out nobody knew. The gentleman, from what I was told, knocked on the door several times yelled several times called my phone a few times, with no response. It was about 9:15 and my wife came out of the bedroom thinking that the repairman should be here by now so she came out looking, found me on the floor and then heard our repairman yelling at the back door so she let him in and then proceeded to wake me up and then everything preceded. He could have left and then we would have had to make another appointment and things could have been much worse. But due to the patience of our repairmen things went smoothly. We have had dealings with our repairman before he has a bad back, I have a bad back and he remembered that and when I saw him I remember that as well. I give him two thumbs up!

Gabriel fixed our microwave. He showed up when he said he would and when we found out we needed another fuse he called to find a nearby coworker then drove to meet his coworker who had a fuse he could have. He got the job done that day, rather than order the part and make us wait with a broken microwave. Thanks, Gabriel!

This was the first time I had to get help to fix my washer. I was very pleased with the service I received from Fred's Appliance. The customer service was professional and accommodating and the service technician, Art, was timely, professional and knowledgeable. He readily diagnosed the problem and the repair was done in about an hour. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5, is that the cost was a bit ore than anticipated. For a part that cost $50, and less than an hour's work, a $260 price tag was kind of steep.

The representative of Fred's Appliance Repair arrived on time and prepared to work. He completed the repair very efficiently, and cleaned up after himself, leaving no trace of his presence. The refrigerator door is functioning fine, producing ice. I was very pleased with the work.

One of the easiest service companies I've done business with. The people are helpful and friendly. Once my appointment was scheduled I got a confirmation phone call and a link to check to see when the technician would be arriving at my door. It was all so smooth! The repair was made quickly. I am a very satisfied customer.

Arrived on time, very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Dryer wouldn't heat. They spent almost an hour testing all parts of the dryer to figure out what the problem was. Turned out the dryer timer needed to be replaced. They told me I should buy a new timer on Amazon for $60 and install it myself. They showed me how to install it. They told me they could install a new timer right then and there but the charge for that would have been nearly $400. I have since received my timer and installed it easily myself and my dryer is fixed! Very pleased with this company!

My appointment with Fred's was set up by Kitchen Aid. I was pleased with Fred's communication regarding confirming the appointment, the time window and a reminder.
The service technician arrived on the earlier side of the appointment window, had a marked vehicle and was wearing logos. He was very friendly and professional, explained what the issue was with my appliance and an estimate of how long the repair would take.
My repair took 15 minutes, the tech talked me through the problem, had me sign off on the work order and a copy was emailed to me right away. I was very happy with the service we received and wish I would have gotten the repair done sooner. I would recommend Fred's and will use them in the future if needed.

Hello, we recently had an issue with our Ice Maker going out on our new(ish) fridge/freezer. We called none other than Freds Appliance to fix the problem. Great service, outstanding customer skills and always happy with the work they do! Overall A++ rating from me! Thank you, Freds!

Jeff came on time at 8am as scheduled. Excellent tech with good customer skills. Call was for a dying Kitchenmaid dishwasher pump. We opted not to repair, but to replace, because of the age of our unit and the cost/benefit ratio. Would highly recommend Fred's and will gladly call them again.
